Glasgow City Mission:
Built 2008. Designed by Elder and Cannon, a leading Glasgow based architecture firm. The building is resource centre for the City's homeless in the heart of the City. Located on the corner of Crimea Street and Brown Street between the River Clyde and the financial district on and north of Argyle Street. The facade are blue brindled brick punched through by windows on each floor. Each floor of windows steps a half step out of alignment with the one below giving the elevation a sense of alternating movement in the horizontal bands. Lines can still be drawn vertically down the building indicating the structural steel frame below.
