Anderson College - Medical School:
Italianate building designed by architects James Sellars and latterly by John Keppie after Sellars died. The new home for Anderson's College Medical School the building opened in 1899. The building is adorned by several fine sculptures by the sculptor James Pittendrigh Macgillivray (1856-1938). In 1947 the school became part of Glasgow University who still own and run the building to this day. The building underwent an extensive refurbishment in the 1990s.
